99 TH 3.5 4-speed auto Solara, mechanically stock with 154,000 kms on the clock. Tyres new about 3500k's ago, running at about 34-36 PSI. I use BP Ultimax, or whatever that 98-octane fuel is - don't get a huge performance boost out of it over standard ULP or PULP, but I feel good knowing it isn't gunging up my fuel system.

The fuel light comes on at around 530kms, and the trip computer usually says I have around 80 or so to empty, so I guess that means I get around 600k (11.5L/100k) to a tank, city cycle. Then, I don't give it much stick (but I like dragging Commies off the lights, and winning ) and I baby it for the first 5-10 mins of a trip if it's been sitting for more than 2 hours.

Highway cycle I can quite easily manage 7L/100k, or around 800k per tank, sitting on 110 - my wife's manual 2002 Corolla gets about 10L/100k city and 8ish highway. She was surprised

Wonder if I'll get even better fuel economy now that I've just changed the air filter...

KJ 2 Verada wagon with the 5 speed tippy. No mods but has the roof bars fitted, also carries a 12kg pram and a child seat all the time. 82,000 km on the clock. Driven normally, not flogging but not granma either. Commute between Queanbeyan and Canberra CBD twice a day then running around Queanbeyan with the wife's work. Usually get about 450-500km from a tank, average around 11.9L/100km. With intake snorkel removed average is about 11.0-11.5L/100km. Due for service.
US standard bumpers. Strong enough to take a towbar through it and not stuff the radiator.
Standard brakes with cheap pads. NEVER let your wife OK new brake pads on a service.
